Have people forgotten that the best player on our defense this year (Quincy Williams) raised the question of accountability after the best player on our offense (AR8) raised the same question the week before? Is Quincy Williams a sociopath too (and whatever other BS you guys came up with). And does anyone else remember "it's early" and "this is the nothing part of football"? Plus, while I do think AR8 had the power to get Saleh fired, why would Saleh have been brought back going into this season if AR8 didn't legitimately like the guy? More than likely, Woody wanted to fire Saleh and ran it by AR8 to see if he strongly objected. After the whole "dial back the cadence" nonsense (Saleh's "big idea" contribution to the offense) and Saleh acting like a complete buffoon against the Pats (celebrating like he just won the SB in the 1st half of a week 3 regular season game), AR8 probably was relieved to hear it. Though even if you think AR8 was fully responsible for Saleh being fired, you should still be grateful to him for making it happen. Saleh is a solid DC but he was completely overmatched as a HC. Good riddance! Why isn't Hackett fired if it's really about accountability? A true leader in Rodgers shoes would've gotten the call from woody, ( recognized Woody's shortcomings as an organizational leader) and said no, do not fire Saleh. He would tell woody it's his responsibility they are losing because he hasnt played well and that we must come together as a real team and football program and support/ sacrifice for each other, not scapegoat... That's called being the captain of the ship and instilling confidence in those around you about your personal integrity towards yourself and others

Good riddance! We don't know what Quincy was referencing. He could have been talking about Rodgers for all we know. Secondly, when coaches aren't liked, it's usually very obvious because the team comes out the next week and stomps the next team. They get a temporary boost. That never happened. In fact we look worse. Especially on defense which was Salehs speciality.
rangerous
I thought I read somewhere, maybe the athletic or jetx, that Rodgers and woody did not discuss saleh or talk about launching him. In any case it is doubtful that saleh would’ve won either of the last two games. And the fact that it didn’t take long for him to go to Green Bay means he was through with the jets weeks ago. Good riddance.

Darnold's Forehead
Saleh was the coach because Woody was gracious enough to give him one final chance with a competent quarterback. 5 games in and he had seen that not even an average QB could make Saleh have his teams ready for Sunday. The team was garbage. That wasn't Woody or Rodgers' doing. There is 0 proof Rodgers had anything to do with Saleh's firing, 0 proof Woody and Rodgers talked about it on the phone. Everything has pointed to Rodgers being a fan of Saleh. He wouldn't have come to NY if he wasn't. Just because you think it's a big Watergate scandal doesn't mean it is. I thought conspiracy theories and not believing what you're told was bad????? Rodgers does not have ultimate power and nothing has once shown that he does. He supported Hackett getting demoted. He never exercised power over Saleh, Saleh was just a terrible HC. Another stupid thread full of Jets fans crying about a guy the media has told you is bad.

" The beningo files?" "MetLife gate" " The Saleh tapes" After all, what did Rodgers know and when did he know it???
JoeNamathsFurCoat
LOL Opened the link half-expecting an audio feed of the conversation, only to find another rant against Rodgers As if the Jets started sucking when he got here as opposed to for the last 50+ years 😂😂😂😂😂

We were 2-3 when Saleh got fired. Our defense has stunk since he got fired. As much as I disliked Saleh he was a good X’s and O’s Defensive coach who developed defensive players. Ulbrich is a nothing Drake Maye will officially end our season tomorrow. Maybe you guys can still figure out a way to blame Saleh
