2 problems i see with this final roster - one is that you have 54 not 53 players. i also think that the jets will keep 2 FB's instead of just 1.

fixed - myers probably doesn't make the final roster but i'll keep him over Adams for now

also no one needs 2 FB but if that's the case someone like Houston or Blaylock, possibly Dressen takes a walk

Good job on the roster. I think Askew has the potential to take a walk, but without a suitable replacement, it may not work.

i still think we may keep around 4 QBs, but looking at your roster, if we did, I couldn't see who I'd drop

Bit...

Real good job. I agree with most of it.

Although I think Houston is going to get waived. Also don't see them keeping 6 WRs. In a perfect world Newhouse would get the last spot. JMacs contract might get in the way of that.

Good work Bit- takes a lot of patience to sit down and do that list compilation

I doubt we will keep 6 Wr's- the defense and the flexibility we are projecting there to me says we need more on that side of the ball.

I was thinking the exact opposite. The flexibility of the players on defense leads me to believe we may not need as many players.

We will not keep 6 WRs or 10 LBs. Add at least one OL, one DL, and a FB to the roster and you should be set.

if teague comes back he can substitute for any position on the line - coupled with Adrian Jones leaves one "project" for the 8th OL spot - could be Morely, Nienheus or Katnick instead of Snell - either way i doubt we keep more than that group of 8 due to teague's versatility.

Also 2 FB i seriously doubt, they are just not all that useful players in general. L Martin doesn't look all that special

Jets fans have to realize the days of Hackett are gone most teams keep more than 5 WR on the active roster

RE: DL - u are right 0 i think i am a player short hence Titus Adams my choice for the final roster spot

Here's mine (just like Bit's but I'm putting in only 9 LB's along with 6 DB's, I think Dada makes it.

QB's (3) - Pennington, Ramsey, Clemens

RB's (4) - Barlow, Blaylock, Houston, Washington

FB's (1) - Askew

TE's (3) - Baker, Jolley, Dreesen

WR's (6) - Coles, Cotchery, Dwight, B.Smith, McCareins, Newhouse

OLineman (8) - Ferguson, Mangold, Jones, Moore, Kendall, Clement, Teague, Snell

Offense: 25

DLine (6) - von Oelhoffen, Robertson, Ellis, Ball, T.Adams, Alafelulia

LB's (9) - Vilma, Hobson, Barton, Thomas, T.Johnson, Chatham, Kassell, McClover, Schlegel

CB's (6) - Dyson, Barrett, Miller, Mickens, Coleman, Dada

S's (4) - Rhodes, Strait, Coleman, E.Smith

Defense: 25

K - Nugent

P - Graham

LS - Dearth

I like this, but believe it or not, and I may be wrong here, I bet Dada does not make it and Bollinger does.. at least for the first few weeks for Pennington to prove his health

On the O line you only have 1 reserveguard in Snell. I agree that

Teague can backup a few positions but it appears he may not be

ready for opening day. Who knows if he is even in shape.

I would consider another name Bit for the time being.

I think they will keep the 4 QBs for a few games with one going on inactive

each week. They have a lot of players who can play multiple positions

so it won't hurt the roster.

And I believe the Jets will keep 10 DBs.Considering all the trouble the Pats have had with injuries to the DBs,mangini may look to insure against this potential pitfall. It could also insure that D Strait sticks due to his ability to swing between CB and Safety.

i like your list...except....

bolly will stay and RAMSEY will be gone...

I agree 1000%.

Also, Darrell Adams will either make the roster as a backup DE or be placed on the practice squad. My other boy, Terry Butler has a shot at the practice squad, but its looking more and more like he better fix up his resume and get a job. :(
