And I hope Bolly is the QB to prove we did not get rid of a decent back-up to starter QB. It's not going to matter though we aren't going to the playoffs. It will come down to some other teams the need to win or lose to help us because we couldn't handle our own when we needed to and we will come up short. Sorry, got a bit off topic. Yesterday was the game to decide if we belonged in the playoff discussion with other good teams, we clearly don't. Had we won we would have been looking at 8-5, 1 game back of the pats and right in the middle of the wildcard race. Instead, we come out on our home field and play like dog doo and eliminate any hopes for legitimate postseason contention. Season, essentially, over. We can talk about the reasons for the loss to death, but what it comes down to is the fact that these new jets came out looking like the same old same old. The Vikings have the #4 overall defense and the #1 defense agaisnt the rush. PennyBoy craps his pants when he faces a top 10 defense. After halftime, it will be Clemens time for the rest of the year. Not gonna happen. One of two things will happen: 1. Chad will come up and torch their over-rated & old secondary much like the Green Bay game... or... 2. We will lose this game much like we lost yesterday. Chad mistakes and the lack of being able to stop the run (going into yesterday Chester Taylor was 4th in the league in rushing and may be back for Sunday's game).
