from NFL.com's Adam Schefter:

The Atlanta Falcons have traded quarterback Matt Schaub to the Houston Texans for a second-round pick in this year's draft, a second-round pick in next year's draft, and a flip flop of spots in the first round this year. Atlanta now will go to No. 8 from No. 10; Houston will go from No. 8 to No. 10.

So the total value was about the #21 pick in the draft. Seems steep, but we'll find out soon enough if it was steep or a bargain. Atlanta made out well if they were in fact sticking with Vick come hell or high water.

Maybe Atlanta is going to parlay picks and move up to get anotherQB.

Trade Vick to the Bengals or Raiders. If Vick goes to one of those two teams NFL Jersey sales will skyrocket.

Yeah now they get a better 1st rounder this year... and TWO 2nd round players over the next two years... Schaub could easily be replaced by one of those picks if needed...

The cap hit they would take for trading Vick is unbelievable, he isn't going anywhere... this year anyways
