Yeah, but there is something called rotations. What's wrong with that ? Bowens is a good player, and I would love to have him for the right price. We are reportedly playing more 4-3 than we did last year, that'd be the reason we currently have 5 defensive ends on the roster. You use two DE's in both defenses, the 43 and 34 I know Cimini is making that assumption, but IMO it's completely without merit, how many DE's we have says nothing about the defense we choose to deploy, but the size and style of the DE's we're signing does .. we're still signing BIG 34DE's who are not necessarily pass rushers, but are stout at the point of attack .. which means we're probably still a predominantly 34 defense We're just loading up on ends so we have more capable ends to rotate, to keep fresh bodies in the game, and to create competition .. You have to stock up on guys this time of year... there will be cuts... but why not bring them in and see what they have?
