Bugg Posted June 7, 2007 Share Posted June 7, 2007 The vibe is that the DA and sherrif would like to make it look like they did a full and thorough investigation, come up short with something like "he may be involved,but there isn't enough evidence" baloney and essentially sheetcann the whole thing. Think the animal investigator, book deals on her horizon if this case she brought down an NFL QB, put them in a tough spot bragging to SI that she "got Michael Vick!". From that point on, Vick's attorneys would have a field day at trial suggesting the whole investigation was from there directed at getting VIck rather than a "search for the truth".
