RSJ
That's too bad. I was hoping he could recapture glory there in Washington. I've always liked Gibbs.
4HCrew
This year had to add 20 years to his life... and the fact they have his replacement already lined up probably made it easier

He's a class guy for sure...I think his main love are his cars though.
124
The game passed him by. People like to say he took the team to the playoffs two out of three years, but I believe they were the sixth seed both times and this year if it weren't for Sean Taylor's death being a motivation to win, I don't think the Skins smell the playoffs after their 5-7 start. Greg Williams should remain as Defensive Coordinator and Saunders should be given a shot, IMO.

GimmeShelter
I think Williams has a clause in his contract that he takes over. Skins should buy it out if they are smart. Last off season the Wash papers ran a series of articles on the complete breakdown in communication between Williams and the players and other defensive coaches as well as his arrogance. This wasn't something posted just by fans like we have here with Mangini....this was from actual Skins players. The Skins do have a lot of the pieces in place to be good if Campbell continues improving. Santana Moss played his typical "help you one play- kill you the next" weak game in Saturdays loss. nj meadowlands
Good for the Skins. Gibbs is a sweet old man, but the game has passed him by.

Panzer Division Marduk
He's a class guy for sure...I think his main love are his cars though. Wonder how much the impact of his team switching to Toyota for this season had on his decision?
