this should tell all that Pats give a sh1t about character in any sense of the word. Next on their list ????

The Patriots have had success rehabilitating players who were perceived as malcontents: first, Corey Dillon, then Randy Moss, now are they prepared to take on Adam "Pacman" Jones?

According to a report in the Tennessean newspaper, the Patriots are among the teams that have expressed some level of interest in the Tennessee Titans cornerback, who sat out all of last season after being suspended by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for his wayward off-field behavior.

Jones, who was suspended in April 2007, remains suspended by the league, pending a review by Goodell, which could come as soon as next month, prior to the NFL Draft. Jones was the No. 6 overall pick in the 2005 draft. In 2006, he finished first in the NFL in punt return average (12.9 yards) and tied for the league lead with three punt returns for touchdowns. On defense, Jones started 15 games and intercepted four passes, returning one for a touchdown.

However, the seemingly incorrigible cornerback carries more baggage than Paris Hilton. He's been arrested six times since being drafted by the Titans and was at the center of a Las Vegas strip club melee in February 2007 that left a man paralyzed.

He's currently serving three years probation, stemming from an incident in Fayette County, Ga., where he was alleged to have bitten a police officer's hand. Jones cut a plea agreement with prosecutors last month, admitting to felony obstruction of a police officer.

Jones certainly has the talent to help replace departed Pro Bowl cornerback Asante Samuel, but Pacman's preferred destination appears to be Dallas.

He wants to go to Dallas. Of course, one would think he wants to go anywhere that they'll let him.

Report: Pacman wants to be a Cowboy

The wow factor that Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones was talking about adding to his team could be Adam "Pacman" Jones. According to multiple sources, the Cowboys have had internal discussions about obtaining the suspended Tennessee cornerback if he's reinstated by the NFL.

Pacman Jones has been suspended since April 2007 for violations of the NFL conduct policy.

He is considered one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL, and that alone has made the Cowboys think about bringing him to Dallas, according to the sources.

There would be numerous obstacles, starting with the suspension.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said commissioner Roger Goodell will review Jones' case before training camps start in July.

Should Jones be reinstated, the Cowboys would have to work out a trade with the Titans.

If the Cowboys acquire Jones, he would join Pro Bowl cornerback TerenceNewman and Anthony Henry (led the team with six interceptions in 2007).

Jones also would be a leading candidate to return punts. In 2006, he averaged 12.9 yards per return with three touchdowns. -- Dallas Morning News

Dallas makes sense for Pacman..It has some of the best strip clubs in the US, right along with Houston just short ride for Pacman in his pimped out whip!!!

No thank you

I'd much rather see him in Big D than with the Cheaters.

In all honesty, Pacman Jones is a criminal and shouldn't be compared to Dillion or Moss. I don't really care for either players because they are kind of jerks, but Pacman Jones they are not. What can you expect from the Cheatroits. Next breaking story, Patroits interested in Vick.
