Last year this game wouldn't have ever been this close. When Wang first got into trouble in the 7th inning, and Girardi came out, and decided to let him finish off the batter, Wang finished the inning and then from there on to Joba to Mo to game over. Torre, not to bash him, would have taken Wang out and probably bring in the Worthless one, Kyle Farnsworth, and he would have made the game out of reach.
