Lil Bit Special
Oh great. Now the Mets are down another pitcher. Smith spent the last three years with the Yakima Mavericks of the Evergreen Football Semi-Pro League. Semi-pro? We are really digging for talent. We are really digging for talent. I saw that. I wonder about punting. Punting is the one position where statistics should roughly transfer between leagues. Level of competition shouldn't change the distance of the punts. Not the gross at least. Other factors might contribute, like the balls they let him use or altitude, but the fact the players sucked shouldn't matter.

#27TheDominator
Ashlan Davis was a monster kick returner in college. Absolute beast, but he's pretty teeny. The Jets seem set at KR with Miller and Washington, but IMO could really use a punt return guy. I'm pretty sure Davis returned punts, but as far as I can recall, his success was as a KR. Maxman
The punter move is a bit surprising. It is good news though, I like Ben Graham!
