lurker you add nothing to threads

you dam troll

but seriously Wasil was 1-7 as a starter last year

15 TD 11 INT

i would say he is a bad qb but he was on a bad team last year(the team went 2-14)

you never know with a good team what he can do

i like the decision

I post links in your worthless threads. I add more than you because your threads are not worthy of being threads.

You dam moron.

Stop creating more work for the mods. When you take a dump on the messageboard keep it confined to this thread.

anyone wonder how ben is going to make it all the way up to albany to see the albany firbirds? here is a useful schedule provided with information on how ben is planning on getting there.

travelchart1.png

NOTE ONE: All home games are scheduled for 7:00 PM except for Saturday, May 16th which is a 1:00 PM game.

Amtrak will work for the May 16th game (both ways), here is the link to the Amtrak ticket schedule for that day: LINK

NOTE TWO: May 2nd is a day in which the SAT's are administered. That may be a game we need to skip.

NOTE THREE: The June 26th game is on a Friday, but we have that day of school off for a Superintendents Conference day. This may not even be relivant, however, because school is over for almost everyone by the 26th.

here are some more travel facts:

Stadium Location:

Times Union Center

51 South Pearl Street

Albany, NY 12207

Mapquest Directions: LINK

Distance: 134 Miles

Time (Driving): Approximately 2 Hours and 15 Minutes

Fuel Cost - FJ Cruiser: $16.30 (at 2.00 per gallon)

Fuel Cost - BMW X3: $11.34

Albany's Average Gas Price: $1.81 per gallon.

Amtrak Cost - Per person: $35 (one way)

NOTE: This will only work for getting TO Albany apparently. The latest trains that leave from Albany to NY Penn on the days of games are 7:00 PM. The games START at that time, so this wouldn't work for getting home.

Amtrak WILL work for the May 16th game which starts at 1 PM.

5 players to watch tonight

QB Stephen Wasil

Wasil enters his first season as starting quarterback after playing last year with af2's Texas Copperheads. He set school records with 6,018 passing yards and 62 touchdowns at Division III Albion (Mich.) College.

WR Alvin Ray Jackson

He played 10 games for af2's South Georgia Wildcats last season, catching 10 passes for 124 yards and three touchdowns. Jackson was an all-conference player at Albany (Ga.) State.

WR Mike Wall

Firebirds coach Tony Bowick called Wall a "burner" because of his speed and strength in a 5-foot-8 frame. Wall, a University at Albany product, made his af2 debut in the Conquest's final game last season.

DB Patrick Horne

Horne was an All-American in the 100 and 200 meters as a track star at Louisiana-Lafayette. He played three games for af2's Rio Grande Valley Dorados last season, making 16 solo tackles with one interception.

DL Anton Lindsay

Lindsay, who is 6-3 and 285 pounds, is a Temple product who played for the af2's Peoria Pirates last season. He attended training camp with the Canadian Football League's Calgary Stampeders in 2007.

Leave JR alone. WTF

No.

There is a huge difference between dam and damn. The kid is in college. He should know the difference.

He should also know that he has a thread for stuff like this. We had a College hockey thread so the 5 people who cared could post all they want and not flood the college board with crap nobody cared about. When he ignores the rules he deserves to be ridiculed.
