Tech Question

It could mean RAM, random access memory. RAM is used more when using programs, not saving information. You should try to get 2gb at least. It isn't too expensive these days, like $45 for 1 gb, but i'd check that that is the problem before getting it.

How do I check the RAM?

I found the RAM

It says

3000+

2.00 GHz, 1.5GB of RAM

Leave it to the Mac evangelists to spam a thread where a guy is looking for help.

Meanwhile, I've set my MacBook Pro at the office to autosave my work EVERY MINUTE so I don't lose stuff when the pinwheel of death pops up and pretends something is happening, when all that really happens is I have to give up and hard boot the friggin' thing.
