Bob
...I got this in my email. I know NOTHING about this outfit. Just passing it on. Hi Bob. I wanted to let you all know that we have set up a special room rate just for football fans for the Falcons v. Jets game on October 24. I am offering a rate of $112.00 for double rooms, $122.00 for king rooms which is discounted off of our Internet rates. These rooms are cancelable and refundable. These rates are good for any combination of nights between Friday, October 21 and Tuesday, October 25. Anyone who would like to make reservations with this special rate should call 1-800-HILTONS and request the NFL Fan Clubs (Atlanta vs. NY Jets) block at the Hilton Atlanta Airport. You can also book online at www.atlantaairport.hilton.com. They will need to enter the group code as
TomShane
Sweet deal. Go to the Atl where they are stashing 4 million Katrina refugees and watch Matt Schaub v. Vinny T and Atlanta's blitzing defense. It should be a great game.

Green DNA
The airport Hilton is a bit of a hike from downtown. That would certainly put a damper on the partying. Not going to this one, but that's something to think about.
Bob
When it was announced that we were playing Atlanta, I thought that would be a great trip. When the schedule came out and I saw it was a Monday night, I lost interest.

T-Mac
I wouldn't travel the hour to Buffalo to see the Jets at this point. I wouldn't either, unless of course Rutgers was playing at Cuse the day before.

Not going to this one, but that's something to think about. Why? MARTA is available. That's why I'm staying at College Point. Plus "Jocks n Jills in Galleria is going to have transportation to & from the game to the Marta station both on the Sunday before & the Monday night game. Best damn transportation city in the US - Except for San Diego & San Francisco...
