These players will join the 2010 Draft picks at this weekend's Rookie Mini Camp. In addition, another group of tryout players will also be on hand. We didn't draft one and are likely looking for another pass-catcher to backup Keller, even with Hartsock basically a lock on the roster as a blocking TE. I would imagine the veterans will be young players who barely made the team last year. Likely they will be glad to do it-because when you are liable to get cut you want every opportunity to impress the people who will decide who is on this year's team. Supposedly he was suffering from some ankle trouble at the combine and that's why he timed so poorly, but the 4.58 he ran at the combine didn't kill him, the 4.62 he ran at his pro day did.
