i wonder which unlucky veterans will have to do rookie mini camp

Seriously-you actually wonder about things like that?

I would imagine the veterans will be young players who barely made the team last year. Likely they will be glad to do it-because when you are liable to get cut you want every opportunity to impress the people who will decide who is on this year's team.

Let's hope they stayed in shape during the off season.

I hope Mike Owen the TE from Syracuse gets a legit chance, he is from my hometown and played at the same high school as myself.

Another Blue Wave like Merserau?

I don't think yuu can consider yourself lucky when you are facing up to that level of stalking from 128.

True.

Also true-that's a whole dimension to the issue I hadn't even thought about!

There is another UDFA: Donovan Warren, CB/S- Michigan- This guy was thought to br a 3rd or 4th round pickuntil he ran a slow 40 at the combine. He has very good speed and good body control. He has the upside to improve quite a bit. we shall see!

sounds a little like Dwight Lowery to me

He has very good speed except that he is slow? Supposedly he was suffering from some ankle trouble at the combine and that's why he timed so poorly, but the 4.58 he ran at the combine didn't kill him, the 4.62 he ran at his pro day did. FWIW, after the combine he specifically said he enjoyed meeting with Rex.
