GangisGreen
Any update? According to rotoworld it is a high ankle sprain which is not good at all.
JetsFanFromQueens
As long as he's back for the Ravens and especially the Patriots game we're good. Mangold is great, but with or without Mangold... We should have no problem beating the Raiders. We're just the much better football team when compared to a team such as Oakland. Long story short, if his ankle is hurt, give him next week off FOR SURE.
Guest Codex
Rex said it's a sprain and they will have an MRI on it tomorrow. No timeline yet. X-rays turned out negative.
BroadwayJoe12
High-ankle sprain could mean a handful of weeks, not a great injury, but better than an ACL or anything that it could have been.

JoeWillie
A high ankle aprain can be worse than a break. If it's bad, he could be out 4-6 weeks with an injury like that.
Maxman
I wouldn't speculate on the extent of this injury just yet. The negative xray is good news. Injuries are part of the game, luckily this one wasn't worse. The part that does sting a bit is the OLine started to look like themselves for about 3 plays before Nick got hurt. They were starting to move the ball on the ground. Hoping for good news after the MRI!
stoicsentry
Mangold is a winner and a tough son of a bitch. No one knows the extent of the injury just yet, but at least you can be confident that he will be back as early as humanly possible.
Larz
I would have him skip the flight to oakland if he has a chance to be ready for the ravens. yes I know the raiders have studs on the DL, but I wouldn't rush him back.

That alone is enough to make this an extemely tough matchup for the Jets. Plus, historically, this has been a nasty road trip for the Jets.
