I did some work with their water department, learned all sorts of good stuff. Aruba also has top notch tap water. You were in Aruba on vacation and you were drinking tap water? Seriously? Its a sh*t hole the resort is nice but all expenses paid for 5 days during the week. I wont complain. Drinking water: There is no need to buy bottled water, Aruba’s water from the tap is praised for its excellent quality and taste. Aruba’s drinking water flows from the world’s second largest desalinization plant. It is not only perfectly pure and safe to drink, it’s also very delicious. We weren't in a casino/hotel. We basically picnicked on the beach in the resident areas the whole trip, much less awful tourists, more solitude. I don't really see what is lame about staying hydrated I guess, we were doing active stuff most days, not just laying around like fat slobs.
