As far as Coples at OLB: Lots of time at DE in this game and he does a hell of a job setting the edge and creating pressure.

SenorGato
Here's a game where he draws 2+ holds in his many snaps at DE to go with a sack and a few TFL.
BurnleyJet
He hardly set the World on fire in his Rookie campaign, 2 starts 1 sack and 1 forced fumble. I'm glad we got Coples.
stoicsentry
Over/Under 9 sacks for Coples? Under. I think they'll get more sacks as a unit, but they'll be divided up between a lot of guys. Hopefully Wilkerson, Coples and Richardson each have 6+.

BurnleyJet
How does he do in PDs, pressures, hits/hurries, and TFL?I've looked, but can't find the info, he would seem to be a bust to me. Great in collage and poor in the pro's. Given his rookie numbers, if the Jets had taken him, and produced those numbers this board would have had a melt down. http://www.nfl.com/player/melviningram/2532870/profile P.s Gholston looked good on videos at Ohio. You're not getting the point. Conner was expected - explicitly stated by Ryan - to become a key cog in the machine he probably convinced himself he was building. He expected Conner to be Richardson with more savior skills. John Conner...JC...it's clear the kind of player and person Ryan expected to get, and it is even more clear he was wrong - as usual. dbatesman
Here's what happened: When the Jets went to work out Sanchez at Mission Viejo High in California on March 24, he was so impressive and cast such a presence on the practice field that Ryan turned to Tannenbaum and said: "This is our guy. I'm not the smartest person in the world, but I do know one thing, having confidence in your players, expecting big results from them whether it happens or not, is pretty much the absolute worst quality to have as a leader. Terrible, Itellya, recipe for disaster...I mean, look at what's happened to the Jets because their 5th round prospect FB nicknamed the Terminator didnt pan out. Pretty much the reason the Jets suck. Well there's that and not giving Tebow enough snaps after being the one HC who would give up a pick for him. Ryan said he and Tebow would change the game of foozball itself, especially with Conner as Tebow's escort. As usual, he was wrong.

Let's go get him.'' You forgot Tannenbaum's reaction. He instantly got up, saluted, and gave a strong "sir, yes, sir" before going off to accomplish his newly assigned mission. Idzik won't play those games. Rex wanted stuff for the offense again (specifically a game changing FB again) and Idzik told him to **** off by drafting a CB and DT first. Ryan's lost his power and hopefully after a well executed (on Idzik's part) humiliating season he will have lost his HC gig here.
SenorGato
Herm guys, itellyawhat, they'd run through a wall for that guy. Word is that the Jets had a BBQ before, during, and after what Ryan called practice. The players would bring their kids and their pool toys while Ryan regaled them with tales he just hadtatellya. It was more like a Saturday cookout with even more lies and broken promises. Still can't believe he lied to Tebow like that after throwing away a pick. BoyItellya that's a sin.
