WEW
When they let you go ahead of the scheduled deadline you are damaged goods. Also we have enough WR decisions to make.

CrazyCarl40
nah we have enough tight ends Yes. Winslow is the beacon of health and Cumberland has really shown us he isn't replaceable at all. Worth a flier.
dbatesman
I'd give him a look, but I wouldn't expect anything to come of it. You have to assume they released him on account of the knee.

pointman
depends on pay. if he comes cheap, sign him up for the bike brigade.
Greenseed4
Call him when we need him. There are other TE options (Shianco, Boss, Heap, McMichael and others) if he gets swooped. Right now I think we'll be leaning on Winslow and Cumby; both upswing players given their recent preseason success. Rueland plays specials and FB in a pinch, so you've gotta assume his youth and versatility keeps him on roster.
Jared
If you need an ex-Patriot TE, I'd go for Fells over Ballard.
Blackout
Pats only plucked up Ballard to begin with as a diss to the Giants
