Jetfan13
Check in the USER CP, under "Stop whining and grow up". Thats not a slam against you or anything, but the ignore feature is just stupid. As much as alk or others piss me off, I will never ignore them. Pretty immature act if you ask me. immature? then it falls right into your expertise area...there would be no need for an ignore feature if people like you would chill with the name calling and swearing . I didnt start the name calling in this thread, and I almost never do unless its with newb retards like glennfoley. I made A JOKE with stormshadow, and I dunno, he's got his panties in a bunch, so he told me to f##k myself? Thats where it started, if that means anything to you. It was A JOKE. We all joke at jetnation. Not my fault shadow has no sense of humor. You think thorr would have responded the way shadow did? He loves to dish out jokes himself, but he can never take it when they are directed at him. THEY'RE JOKES! Hello!

OT Joe Toledo, Washington Even though your first 3 round mock draft is respectable, I am not comfortable with that. No disrespect intended... According to your mock draft, Bears, Eagles and Dolphins are solid. I am testy about drafting Cutler as Jets' first selection because he is a pure inconsistent quarterback.... Do you really want a 25 td-15 int potential qb as top 5 overall selection? I dont but if you do then it is all right.... I remain uncertain about who is worth 4th overall pick..... damn... like everyone, I hope for a trading down to get out of top 5... I absolutely hate Gillies. Every time i watch him play I get uncomfortable easily because he tends to pedal backward frequently... I can imagine that either Pennington or Bollinger will get out of the pocket in hurry and panic.. It is not an efficient for Jets' Mangini.... Toledo seems to be a promising OT based on his size and Washington is a knack for having good OL... Unless it is a panic move, I think it is rather too high for Toledo... By panic move, I mean a group of talents runs out of that position..... I am more leaning to a mock draft that contains either Ngata, DT or Hawk, LB in first round, Colledge, LT in second round, and Boothe, OG in third round. Preston Howley III
35. NY Jets - OG Max Jean Gillies, Georgia == NY JETS ====== RD 3. OT Joe Toledo or OT Jeremy Trueblood I think Jean-Gilles will be taken in round one. Where do you see LSU DT Claude Wroten, going? I'd like to think the Jets are looking to upgrade that position. Maxman
35. NY Jets - OG Max Jean Gillies, Georgia Just want to go on record as saying this guy is my hero and I don't see any possible scenario that has the Jets taking him and having him not be inducted into the Hall Of Fame upon his retirement. Also once he is drafted we need to get him here for an online chat. I hope he can type!
Barton
Just noticed something. Darnell Bing is a strong safety, as is Ed Reed.

Barton
I think Reed is a FS but who cares since S positions are interchangeable. I've seen Reed lined up at FS too, but for the most part he's at SS. The Ravens ran a 4-6 defense last year from what I remember. Not sure where Reed was playing, but he might have been the only safety on the field at times, in a centerfield role. I'd love to get Bing on the Jets. He can be our Rodney Harrison, the up in the box safety who can stuff the run and really hit hard, but at the same time, isnt a real liability in coverage, and make alot of big plays there too. I believe Reed was out for most of time last season due to leg or foot injury.. I am sure that he was not at 100 percent so he played SS to focus on players instead of footballs.... I am not sure if i think correctly.. Bing is a solid SS but i am not comfortable with selecting S in day one instead of other position to be upgraded greatly.... I like Slay from TT in day 2...... He is not much different from Bing... Hope Mangini finds right players....
