bitonti Posted November 20, 2019 Share Posted November 20, 2019 Chuma Edoga is too young to write off - tackle in the NFL is a huge task for any rookie, he's started at 2 positions this season when he should really be redshirted for how raw he is ... he's flashed but he's also looked terrible but it's not fair to compare 22 year old Edoga to 27 year old Shell. Edoga has the physical upside to be a starter once he figures out life Russell Bodine is a better backup center than Leo K but also more expensive Bryan Witzmann is a journeyman with some starting experience but not a great player - his name is interesting because he's a 6'7" guard. Tom Compton is another huge guard (compared to Winters) - these are the guys Gase is going to want - 4 tackles and 1 center it could even mean Edoga's future is at guard because in Gase system he wants huge guys across the board.
