Great story, coming back from brain surgery to win a starting QB job (which he may have lost in just over a quarter). Easy kid to rrot for, but he sure did not look like a very good football player when he was out there. He was not helped by about 8-10 first half penalties. But he was inaccurate, made bad reads, and did not seem to hve much pocket presence. Offense looked competent when Stetson Bennett was out there. It’s not easy reloading every year and maintaining a high level of play, especially when transitioning between QBs. We saw it with LSU and Oklahoma yesterday. Common sense tells me that FSU should beat Georgia Tech (aslo breaking in a new Head Coach) 10 out of 10 times but yeah, sure, culture is why they lost. These kids who are auditioning for the NFL which is why the chose FSU actually hate Football and hate playing Football and hate FSU and Mike Norvell because Willie Taggert recruited them. Come'on man. Look, sure, he may turn it around but the excuse making for that program is unreal which was my whole point, and here we are.
