Moved down in the 1st round thus missing out on the last high end offensive tackle in that draft.   Thus we drafted a 25 year old developmental pass rusher who gets 20% of the snaps.

Gave up a 2nd rounder that year, gave up a 2nd rounder this past year.

Draft value chart for all of that?  Probably close to a top 10 1st round pick.

All for a guy the packers could not wait to get rid of who had zero other teams bidding for his services.

Douglas got fleeced like a sheep becasue he and the jets and Rodgers did literally every thing wrong in that negotiation.

The Packers got rid of a problem player they were stuck with, got nice draft resources, got huge cap relief, got rid of a host of terrible players the jets picked up.

Joe Douglas should have been gm of the year.....for the Packers.

He has top five offense weapons in the whole league .   Going to be tough for any defense to stop this offense .  1a D Adams and 1b J Meyers as the starting Wrs    Brock bowers anywhere slot / wr/ Te ,Fb , Te  Michael Mayer , Rb Zeus     Wr Tre Tucker the burner can even line up at RB. ( ask Derwin James who try to cover him and was abused - .   Tre Tucker is the most important player because he has rare speed that every defense has to respect his speed .  ( opens up the whole field for the others to really thrive.   They have so many weapons M Gallup ( might not make it) Jalen guyton ( another big burner) , Te / fb Harrison  Bryant ( can play three tes ) .       Whatever defense you put out there they have an answer for it.     Keep sleeping on the Raiders as they will be playoff team.  They are loaded on every level( defense, special teams, and offense)
