Popular Post Jet_Engine1
From last Sunday afternoon to about 7:59 pm Thursday, the "Narrative" for a lot of the media was that the Patriots were "far better" than expected, with a top defense, excellent running game, and enough Offense and experience from uber-journeyman Jacoby Brissette to be considered a "good team". I mean, they BEAT the Bengals at home and took Seattle to OT... while the Jets were completely overwhelmed by the 49ers and squeaked by a bad Titans team. Rewatching a LOT of "content" from the past week, many were saying the Patriots would actually run the ball down the Jets throat and make it a close game that could go either way... while Media Clowns like Schlereth and Cowherd were predicting the Patriots to outright beat the Jets. And the consensus opinion seemed to be, "Rodgers can still throw from the pocket, but it's CLEAR he can't move anymore, he's a statue back there... he's not the same player anymore". Fast forward to Friday... NOW the narrative completely flipped and the Jets "only beat a bad Patriots team... the Patriots are rebuilding, they aren't really contending right now... the Bengals win was just a fluke because the Bengals were undermanned... the poor Patriots were down 2 WHOLE LINEMEN, what did they expect?" (Ignoring JJ, CJ Mosely, Reddick) Its insane. And the entire narrative that Rodgers is done as a QB with ANY ability to move around anymore is simply disregarded, and the narrative is now, "Well, he looked pretty good out there, BUT, well, he hasn't thrown for over 300 yards in a game since 2021". It's just amusing to see SO MANY PEOPLE who are paid very well to be experts on Football be wrong about so much, pretend they never said or really "meant" what they said, and move on with new bad opinions and garbage analysis. Speaking of which, anyone catch Kiper essentially saying the Tampa-2/2 deep Safety alignment should be made illegal? LOL. I'm really hoping the next 10 days sees the Jets tighten up even more with timing and synchronizing the passing game and A-Rod drops 400 and 4 TDs on Sean Payton's head for daring to besmirch his best buddy last year - dude forgets NOTHING. 3
Popular Post Arsis
The Jets will be considered the worst back to back super bowls champs of all time. The other teams will have beat themselves and the Jets really aren't that good. Blah blah blah.

Popular Post Beerfish
The narrative flops week by week with national media and it is all 100% predicable what they are going to talk about the day after some games. The issue is total lack of accountability with some of these tools, they talk as if they know what the hell they are talking about and then week by week totally shift their talking points back and forth. They will then totally ignore the weeks they praised or called out a team or players as it suits them. The content is pretty terrible. 4

I watched that zero production value "Jon Gruden in the garage with a whiteboard" YT video he put up breaking down the Jets v Pats game (in which he was spot on in his analysis), and that silly little video was 100X better than what is actually being put on major broadcasts and networks that "cover" the NFL. Say what you want about him, and yeah, he's a bit much and a total yokel, but it's clear how much the dude just loves the game.
EM31
It is simply a function of too many experts and media figures being rewarded more for being edgy than they are for being right. With enough so called experts you are going to have a significant number who say stupid sh!t simply as click bait and because they really don't ever get punished for being wrong in spectacular fashion. Darnold's Forehead
The Jets could blow out the Broncos, shutting them out until the 4th quarter where Zach comes in to squeeze in a garbage time TD somehow, and the entire narrative around the game in mainstream media would be, “See? Zach Wilson was held back by the miserable Jets. He should start for Denver next week.”

Green Ghost
Grown men who follow a sport/team getting so triggered by everything and anything a media member might say about the team they root for has always puzzled me. At what point in your lives do you stop acting like a teenage girl and either stop listening or not letting it bother you? I’m assuming most of you are or were mature enough to raise a family. Why can’t you be the same in other aspects of your lives like your sports teams? 2
