What more should he have to demonstrate to be deserving of a multi-year deal? Doesn't seems like he's missed a game in his career due to injury and is coming off seasons with 12.5, 11, 16 and 11 sacks. It's just unfortunate his GM is on the hot seat and is restricted from making multi-year deals. Meanwhile his intention is to lock down a multi-year deal. I agree, missing a year of football doesn't help the cause. So I guess the players is taking the happy medium of possibly being rusty over the potiential of injury.
