Rex went to buffalo and got humiliated while trying to bad mouth the Jets. Coaching career over

Herm went to Kc and got Trent green killed and ruined Larry Johnson.

one had the number one defense before he took over. And the other moron had the number 2 offense he took over. They then became bottom feeder defense and offenses thanks to Rex and Herm.

The Jets won despite these idiots. And Rex actually did nothing without Mike pettine

wasn't indicating we should rehire him.  But I do want the passion on the team.  Team is FLAT and UNINSPIRED.

i would take him back in a second so long as he is backed up by a strong gm.  rex was an excellent coach but an awful de facto gm.  and then when idzik came in, the roster was further stripped down in anticipation of the following season that was supposed to see idzick proceed without rex.  that never happened.

and rex still managed to win half his games with a stripped roster.

the problems he had in buffalo were political.  

if he had a decent qb he would most probably have won a super bowl in 2009 or 2010
