RichardSeymour
Your best guess... This got me thinking.... From Profootballweekly: But the NFL is a league of second chances, so much so that, had the NFL not ruled against Clarett and USC WR Mike Williams, Clarett may have been a member of the Super Bowl-winning Patriots in 2004. Yes, the same New England franchise that measures character in karats, as in championship gold, was convinced Clarett could shape up. With the 32nd pick in the draft, the Patriots would have drafted Clarett. Instead, when the federal ruling and subsequent appeal was rendered, the Patriots scrapped Plan A and met with Bengals RB Corey Dillon. The rest is history. 124
7th round. And that is being generous.
faba
I am going to say 6th round but I saw the comments from Gil Brandt on Clarett on NFL.Com that were praising him which I was surprised at. Some team will take a chance on potential and overlook past trangressions
TomShane
I watched the NFL Network's sh*t-eating report from the combine and all they did was yap about Clarett. He's in shape, he's been coached not to be a freaking retard in the interviews, and he's supposed to be quick. He fooled the media, but I think the NFL community knows what a psycho piece of sh*t he is and won't touch him before the 4th round. Look for a moron like Denny Green to pick him up. God help any idiot franchise that gives this toolbox his first paycheck.
The Troll
I voted for the 6th round. The only way I'd ever draft Clarett is if my team had three seventh round compensatory choices like we did last year. I'd take a flier on him with one of them. Other than that, he's a reach, IMO. Warfish
I think he's a 5th round (or worse) talent, but I just have this feeling that someone is going to take a flier on him and snag him in the late 2nd or just after.
BaumerJet
6Th round. Clarett has not played in over a year - so his rankings have to dive. No team in their right mind would go after him earlier. He would demand too much money & would probably sit out if he was drafted before the 6th round. PatsFanTX
Some team will take a flyer on him in the 3rd.
PFSIKH
I went with bottom half of 2nd. A team like Philadelphia can take a chance on a guy that actually might have a chance to see the field as opposed to a player that will have minor contributions for a deep and talented team. StillerPaul
I got him going in round 3 as well. Despite the attitude and ignorance, the guy has the tools and talent to lure some team in. I still think that if he gets his Sh!t together he'll be one hell of a player.
