NIGHT STALKER Posted September 6, 2006 Share Posted September 6, 2006 The Jets announced six team captains on Sunday. This was voted on by the players. The offensive captains will be guard Pete Kendall and quarterback Chad Pennington. Linebacker Jonathan Vilma and defensive end Shaun Ellis will be the defensive captains. To be fair,i believe Graham was captain of his AFL for many more years than Nuggent was captain for the buckeyes(and is older by a good few years).And they probably wanted to have a coverage guy for a special teams captain.
