Lady Jet
next week, or perhaps in the Superbowl, has absolutely no effect on our Jets. Just keeping it real, folks.
pjam76
Cause the Pats are in the same division. For the Jets to win anything, they have to become better than the Pats.. If they don't, they'll wind up a wildcard team again and never much of a threat. Yeah the Pats can win and win and win and it won't matter much to the Jets, but the fact is, the Pats get more playoff experience for the young guys while the Jets got blown out in the wildcard game. Lady Jet
For the Jets to win anything, they have to become better than the Pats.. Well yeah, of course. But what the Pats do against Indy, or in the Superbowl should they beat Indy, does not effect the Jets at all.
PFSIKH
Well yeah, of course. But what the Pats do against Indy, or in the Superbowl should they beat Indy, does not effect the Jets at all. Keep telling yourself that LJ.

Maxman
Actually the better the Pats do this year, the worse off they will be next year. If they win it all -- marginal players want bigger contracts, an off-season of partying makes camp more challenging plus a lower draft position. The being said -- I pray they lose to the Colts. pjam76
But it gives many young players on this Pats team experience in the playoffs, experience in winning in the playoffs, experience in winning close games in the playoffs. That all counts in the long run because for whatever reason, no matter who the Pats have, they continue to win. Experience might not really matter all that much, but when you win, it means a lot more than when you lose. Everybody loses, not everybody wins in the biggest games over and over and over again. Alk
next week, or perhaps in the Superbowl, has absolutely no effect on our Jets. Just keeping it real, folks. That's a very solid post actually. I have no idea why the Jets fans on here are getting so bent out of shape over us winning tonight.
Bob
She's right, of course, but it would still suck.
