Garb
So, how does this work exactly? Will he start serving teh suspension immediately or after his next start? So, Sox are down to two starters? Wake and Clement? Yikes..... Terry Francona: 3-game suspension; fined Bronson Arroyo: 6-game suspension; fined Trot Nixon: 2-game suspension; fined David Ortiz: Fined

He could appeal the suspension and maybe get it reduced to 3 games in which he doesn't miss a start at all. The most he would miss though is probably one start

Jet/BosoxFan
I agree Maxman!!! David Ortiz truly deserved whatever fine MLB gave him for using his head to get in the way of that 90 mph fastball

David Ortiz truly deserved whatever fine MLB gave him for using his head to get in the way of that 90 mph fastball OH come on. Boston loves being the bad boys. Except Lou Pinella isn't going to back down. Pedro has been a headhunter for years. He is gone but the bad blood remains.
