TheGARV
TheGARV has roots deep within the Jets organization. In fact my Uncle, who recently passed away, was the equipment manager for the 1969 NY Jets and attended Broadway Joe's wedding. Can you name him? Hint: His nickname was Tiger. Wasn't Bill Hampton the manager since they were the Titans? I believe so. His son Clay took over when he retired, I don't know about 2000, 2001 or so.... Maxman
I have this fear the TheGARV somehow used his connection to collect game worn socks. I swear if he is only posting here because of some crazy foot fetish I am going to be very disappointed.

Here's another clue: He became the equipment manager for the NJ Generals and got me an autographed Herschel Walker football.

I loved the Generals-in fact it was cool that the week or so after we lost to Miami in the Mud Bowl we were able to start trying to forgeting about it with the USFL-Bobby Douglas is the answer to the Who was the Generals 1st Starting QB? TheGARV
His name is Mike "Tiger" Ferraro. Not sure if he held the exact title of equipment manager with the 69 Jets, but he did work on the team with equipent. Later he moved on to the Stars and the Generals. Baseball is in my blood too, but that's for another post another day.

Hershal Walker and Mo Carthon were one Hell of a one=to punch in the back field. Trump killed that league.
