GimmeShelter
Who woulda thunk it? Get swept in philly, and come back to sweep in Lanta? While allowing 1 extra base hit the entire series. Phillies kept up with their season long personality of blowing the next series against a inferior team.
Jet Moses
Who woulda thunk it? Get swept in philly, and come back to sweep in Lanta? It's nice to have that monkey off of our back. And Philthy lost again today. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Mota actually pitch a scoreless inning this series? Yesterday? I was bombed, so I don't recall. And Sosa pitched a scoreless one today, as did Heilman. Miracles never cease.

faba
And Feliciano got the save last night. 5 out of 6 strikeouts too-even though he forgot that the game was over yesterday.

Maxman
No way they get past the Cubbies in the postseason. The Cubs are like 4 or 5 games over .500. It is destiny.

faba
Pedro's presence in the clubhouse seems to have a uplifting effect to the Mets- I do not think you can disagree with this.
Jetsfan80
Pedro's presence in the clubhouse seems to have a uplifting effect to the Mets- I do not think you can disagree with this. Especially with the way his teammates picked him up today. He had a rough 1st, but then the bats absolutely caught fire against a decent counterpart, Aaron Harang. Not bad at all. JetCane
Well they ended up 5-4 on the road trip after dropping the first four, and now winning 5 in a row- longest streak of the season.
