Why hasn't Joe been fired yet????

Why not fire him?

1) He is not under contract...so he would not be retained...not fired.

2) Cooler heads may prevail and allow to Joe to stay.

3) GS needs to relax and let the younger Steinbrenners make the call...

Good points ! His contract is up, just don't renew it. End of story.

Are you serious?????

For any manager to take his team to th playoffs for however many years in a row, 14, 15 whatever is absolutely amazing. Yankee fans are just too dam spoiled. Try being a Cubs fan & live a lifetime without your team winning a world series. :character42:

Speaking as a Cubs fan, if we had the best team in baseball for 7 straight years and had absolutely nothing to show for it, I would have wanted the manager fired about three years ago.

Have the Cubs ever had 7 straight winning seasons since the 19th century? ;)
