New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush has been diagnosed with a torn ligament in his knee that could sideline him the rest of the season, sources said.

Bush has a tear in his posterior cruciate ligament, a source close to the running back said. A Saints source confirmed the diagnosis but said Bush and the team were getting a second opinion from noted orthopedic specialist Dr. James Andrews to determine if surgery is necessary.

Bush missed practice Thursday. He is listed as questionable for the Saints' Monday night game against the Atlanta Falcons, but Bush told a source he did not expect to play. The rest of his season was also in doubt, the source said.

Chris Mortensen covers the NFL for ESPN.com.

Ehhh, isht happens. it's a violent game. Did you see how many players left the field last night? That was a bad game for injuries. Hate to see anyone get hurt, regardless of whether they have lived up to their hype or not.

it is never good to see them get hurt, but you can't say you are surprised. I don't think Bush has what it takes at the RB position.

sucked?? 1300 yards and a big playoff game against the Bears is sucking?

Yes it is when you consider that he couldn't and still can't run the football.

He is good at recieving out of the backfield but as a runner he is awful. The primary job of a running back is to run the ball, whether it's outside or between the tackles it doesn't matter, he can't do either.

Thats racist

:animal0028:

I thuthpect an alterior agenda.

A little injection of PeopleSpeak™ can turn any ordinary people's conversation into a civil, politically correct exchange of equally valid ideas.

RECOMMENDATION:

Introduce a mandatory gradual transition to PeopleSpeak™ through public awareness campaigns combined with strict revolutionary enforcement.

?????????????

This thread has certainly taken a bizarre twist.

What does Uncle Tom, or the above statement have to do with Reggie Bush, or Vince Young for that matter?

Because us Jets fans that love LC and Cotchery, along with the new Beast David Harris are racists. Oh, did I mention the player we despise most of all is Tom Brady?

Ignorance.

Silence, apartchik!

Only Black men who marry the mother of their children, speak proper English, encourage their children to pay attention in school and not hang out on the street looking like a prison male prostitute, and take their family to church can be disparaged!

SOMETIMES THEY EVEN VOTE REPUBLICAN!

WTF is an uncle Tom????

It's a disparaging term to silence and shame certain Black people. It's employed by secular progressives, and it's a form of political correctness.

It's used against any Black man who does not behave and think the way that secular progressives have determined that they should act and think.
