miami has pick 32

but what about draft pick 255 that wont be drafted this year because belichick is an ass-hole. This guy will now miss out on being Mr. Irrelevant and all the attention. He will miss out on knowing he was a draft pick of an NFL team. You think anyone will care that #255 was a non-drafted FA???

All this crap because Belly is a prick.

Maybe the NFL should do the right thing and give Miami an extra pick at the end of the draft.

I just wish we knew how the Pats got 2 picks in the first round. smells like a conspiracy.

How the hell did the Cheaters get the 9ers 1st round pick? WTF??

The Patriots traded their second of two first rounders for this one. In fairness to the 49ers, they went from bad to good and figured they would keep getting better thus minimizing the loss of the 1st. Opps.

fROM espn gREG eASTERBROOK:

In the draft this spring, already having a strong 2007 roster and two first choices, Bill Belichick banked one of the firsts for San Francisco's first in 2008. At the time, few would have guessed how spectacularly bad the Squared Sevens would be this season -- perhaps Belichick was behind that somehow because now the Pats project to the second overall choice. When Roger Goodell fined the Patriots a first-round choice in the Beli-Cheat scandal, it was New England's first-rounder, not the San Francisco choice acquired in trade, that Goodell voided. Belichick obtained San Francisco's first choice fair and square, and his decision to bank that choice reflects the wise husbandry New England has shown consistently under current management. Still, if the Patriots win the Super Bowl, then go second in the 2008 draft after Goodell publicly imposed what sounded like a harsh draft penalty, the situation will seem rigged, even if it isn't.
