Matt39
Watch this get swept under the rug since Clemens, Pettitte etc were using. The excuse will be "everyone was doing it..." But Bonds gets the kitchen sink thrown at him.

oxscott
this entire report will serve as vindication, in a strange way, for Bonds. The ONLY reason he was singled out was because of the record. If he was still 100 hr's short of Aaron, he would just be another name.... I whole heartily disagree with the way Bonds has been alienated. Him being a prick hasnt helped either.

nj meadowlands
Major League Baseball gave him this project. Since taking on the project he has been on a leave of absence from the Red Sox Organization. He does not have any equity in the Boston Red Sox. To suggest that he is going to omit names because he is on the Board of Directors of the Boston Red Sox is to say that he is improperly doing his job. To that point, no such allegations have been levied. So there is no basis for your claim Barton. Until the report is fully realized, you cannot accuse him of any wrong doing. Roger Clemens, though, is now being reported as being on that list. I feel sorry for you if you honestly believe that.

Garb
If you are going to single out players to spite another team, you are missing out on the much bigger picture. Why is this turning into a Boston Versus NY thread? How old are you people? This is about rampant steriod use in the major leagues and how some of our baseball "heros" lost some of their luster. BTW - geez.....I could have told yah Normar was going to be on that list.
PeterNorth09
Mitchell was not biased. RedSox ties. Brady Anderson Manny Alexander Dante Bichette Wil Cordero Jose Canseco Roger Clemens Paxton Crawford Johnny Damon Carl Everett Rich Garces Eric Gagne Nomar Garciaparra Jeremy Giambi Trot Nixon Jose Offerman Julian Tavarez Maurice Vaughn Jason Varitek Don't forget to mention Paul Loduca and Lenny Dykstra for the Mutts. Good point though. Met-Sox fans and the rest of the Yankee haters are going to try to spin this report as being an embarassment for just the Yankees, and while it is bad for the Yankees it is bad for other teams as well. Including the Mets and Red Sox.

Bugg
Don't see much of a difference. Other than going from a total scrub to the most fearsome hitter in the AL. Yeah, no difference. Happens all the time late in careers. Notice he weara nothing but longsleeve shirts akll the tiem now, probably because like wrestlers like Don Muraco, his roided arms have stretch marks. "Fair and impartial"-like going to numerous sSawx games at Fenway on the arms, sitting with his son in the dugout, getting autographs? This is a freaking joke. They shouldn't have bothered.Go Sawx! Good work on Bonds' defense work-EVERYBODY DOES IT.

Yeah, he started wearing longsleeve shirts because it's cold in Boston, right? And he dissappears into the Domincan every winter and out of testing range as a goof, right? Look, I understand that Pettitte and Clemens are embarrassing. But Ortiz has admitted he "may have used steroids in the past". Mitchell took Giambi over the coals after his grand jury appearance, and yet didn't even bother to interview Oritz. Is that fair?
