Blackout
so last year he hit .314, 54 home runs and 156 RBI he could've quit at 130, but he just had to pound in as many RBI as possible to keep us remembering that he is the only man who should be mentioned as the best in the game. not pujols, not ortiz, nobody. so this year he's got his bigass contract and is chasing Bonds* on the HR list obviously he's going to go down, how can he not? alot can happen in the next 3 months but i'd predicting he'll drop atleast down to .300, hit 10 less homers and ATLEAST 25 less RBI
anskyruben
It's a non contract season so he will be in the 40 homers with 300 avg and strike out in key situations.

AFJF
Don't care. There's never been a Yankee that I hate more than A-Rod. Well, maybe Sheffield. Maybe.
Kidhuman
Back to Back MVP with a WS MVP tossed in there as well.
Bob
I'm a bit afraid he'll start chasing the homerun record and his average will fall off. I expect a solid year. They can't all be like 2007 was.
oxscott
Triple Crown, MVP reg season, Division Series MVP, Championship Series MVP, WS MVP, GW HR in game 7 of WS, WS Ring . . . and the key to the city.
NIGHT STALKER
I think ARod has finally starting relaxing under the "city lights" and I expect nothing but positive results.
DaBrick Wall
Triple Crown, MVP reg season, Division Series MVP, Championship Series MVP, WS MVP, GW HR in game 7 of WS, WS Ring . . . and the key to the city. That's probably the only way he'd ever be fully accepted in NY.

I agree. As long as he doesnt go full out Andruw Jones-like, he shouldn't fall off too much though. 40 HR's with 120 RBI and a 290ish average Id expect. mbn007
I do not like these type of threads, but I still felt the need to stick up for A-Rod here. .305, 48 HRs, 143 RBIs.
