He is a backup with no guarantee he will be a good starter. The Jets can find another backup RB. Curtis is the man for the next two years at least. You can't pay your backup RB that kind of cash to run 12 times and get old on the bench. The bigger issue is who will replace Jason Ferguson. He is a solid player, and his presence is a big reason why Vilma had a big year. If they don't fill the void with someone who can play at the same level or better, it will be a major issue next year. There was internet rumors last night that Plax would sign with the Jets today. The source was said to be channel 12 news on long island. This was posted on a giants site.
