"In the real world, Andy is probably now an $8 million a year pitcher at most," said the exec. "We are willing to pay $2 million more because we love him, because he is a Yankee and we want it to stay that way." For a one year deal they should give him whatever he wants (in light of these recent contracts). He has to pitch in the new stadium.
