DMaynard
Jeesh. Did Reeves bring the hospital bed and respirator with him? They looked at Marv Levy, but wanted somebody younger.

villain_the_foe
PFT.com This may be a good look for the 49ers. Singletary keeping the structure and Reeves with his experience both as a HC and as an offensive mind overall.

New York Mick
Reeves isn't that old (65) but I thought he was sick or something and how can you go from being a HC to an OC??? That would suck.
bobbyjet69
Reeves isn't that old (65) but I thought he was sick or something and how can you go from being a HC to an OC??? That would suck. he had bypass surgey back when he was with the Falcons. On NFL radio(serius satalite) he was saying he wanted to coach again, coordinater or HC it didn't matter. But his phone wasn't ringing. He's a good coach!

New York Mick
I know he's a good coach my point was how could you take a job as an OC when you were a HC for so long. I guess he didn't have any choice so he is taking what is coming to him.

I guess he didn't have any choice so he is taking what is coming to him. I think at this point he realizes nobody is going to offer him a head coaching job so he will settle to be an OC. Being an OC will not be the same stress as being a HC. Dan Reeves is a football coach, that is what he is, he eats, sleeps and drinks football. I enjoy listening to him on Sirius NFL radio because of his passion, love and knowledge of the sport.
