I go every year.  Lots of giveaways, great time for the kids (if you don't mind keeping them up late). Inflatable rides, punt pass kick and such, player appearances, flight crew photo ops, it really is a good time.

The New York Jets sent out this press release (below) which details the team sponsored events that will take place during the NFL draft. The 1st round of the draft begins at 8pm on Thursday, April 25.  Rounds 2 and 3 will be held on April 26 and Rounds 4 through 7 will be held onApril 27. Visit our NFL Draft forum for the latest New York Jets draft news before and after the 2013 NFL Draft.

Jets Expand Draft Week Fan Activities

Plans Include Season Ticket Holder Only Party at MetLife Stadium

and Family Fun Day at Team Practice Facility

The New York Jets will expand its Draft Week to feature three events surrounding the 2013 NFL Draft.  Along with official team partners New York Daily News, EMC/SAP, Houlihan’s Restaurant and Bar, Pepsi, Toyota, and Verizon, the Jets will offer all fans unprecedented access to the players and team facilities as part of this year’s Draft.

The team will host a Draft Party exclusively for Season Ticket Holders, which will be held at MetLife Stadium on Thursday, April 25. In addition to watching the first round of the Draft live on the four in-stadium videoboards, attendees will enjoy autographs from Jets players – those scheduled to appear include Quinton Coples, Kenrick Ellis, Stephen Hill, Muhammad Wilkerson and Kyle Wilson.  The players in attendance will be featured on Jets Talk LIVE hosted by Team Insider Eric Allen along with special guest Bob Wischusen live only on newyorkjets.com from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

For the first time ever, Season Ticket Holders will have the opportunity to tour the Jets home locker room.  Also, the night will feature on-field activities and appearances by the Jets Flight Crew Cheerleaders.  One lucky Season Ticket Holder in attendance will be randomly selected to have the special honor of announcing the team’s fourth-round draft pick live at Radio City Music Hall on Saturday, April 27.  Admission to the party at MetLife Stadium is free for Season Ticket Holders but tickets, which can be downloaded at My Jets Account, are required for entrance.

In addition to the Season Ticket Holder party, the team is partnering with local Houlihan’s establishments throughout the NJ and NY area to encourage Jets fans to meet up with other fans to experience Round One of the Draft on Thursday night.  The Hasbrouck Heights location in NJ (5 Route 17 South) and Farmingdale location on Long Island (923 Broad Hollow Road) will serve as the featured restaurants and will have appearances by Jets Alumni and Flight Crew Cheerleaders beginning at 6:00 p.m. Also, the restaurants will show Jets Talk LIVE at 6:30 p.m.  Additional locations can be found on newyorkjets.com.

On Saturday, April 27 from Noon to 4:00 p.m. the team will welcome all fans to the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, NJ for Jets Draft Family Fun Day.  Jets fans and families can watch the remainder of the 2013 NFL Draft and meet Flight Crew cheerleaders, have the opportunity to get player autographs – including scheduled appearances by Kenrick Ellis, Muhammad Wilkerson and Kyle Wilson – and have the chance to tour the players’ locker room.  Kids can also enjoy Jets Fest, an interactive team playground.  Admission and parking is open to the public and is free, however signup is required at newyorkjets.com.

Jets fans will receive a free 2013 Jets Draft T-Shirt, while supplies last, at all of the events above.

From what I hear, TJ isn't the same as it was a decade ago...as a result I've had to get illegal meds and STDs the old fashioned way.

What can be a finer outing?  Gambling, street food, buckets of Dos Equis  and donkeys painted like zebras always work for me.

Street Tacos are legit.  But, corrupt Policia, gets the nod on this one.

Yea, last time I was in TJ was a handful of years ago and it was pretty much common to lock up anyone who looked like a white college boy and shake em down for all of their and their friend's money.  And trust me, you do not want to spend time in a mexican jail...ever.  Could have been because I was in my early 20s, but I've just heard that Mexico over the last five years or so is just not somewhere you want to be.

Yeah. Was thinking of bringing one of them. The problem is picking which one. Wish I could bring both of them.

Maybe one of the fine season ticket holders on this board, one who isn't going to the draft party, could see fit to throw a ticket your way out of the goodness of their hearts.

How many kids do you have?  I am sure if we ask around we can get you another ticket or two.  How many more tickets do you need?
