RutgersJetFan Posted November 23, 2010 Share Posted November 23, 2010 I thought he was pretty fantastic in Adaption; once things got going in Lord of War, I thought he was great, especially the monologue at the end. And his cameo in Grindhouse is still one of the funniest things ever. Cage's problem is that he just has an awful eye for scripts. Even Leaving Las Vegas, in hindsight, is pretty cliched. Totally friggin' stupid, meanwhile I'll leave it on if I stumble upon it flipping around. Ditto those National Treasure garbage flicks, Face Off, etc. Never caught the one where he was guarding Jessica Tandy. I'm sure it's a classic.
