Think they will land Nash or Carter at the deadline?

At the cost being quoted, no way. Kreider may be Nash, and they can have him for 5-7 years at a fraction of the cost. Again, for those kinds of offers, Ovie migh be a fair deal. More likelyWhitney or Selanne or some other spring rental at a way lesser price makes more sense.

I agree, what they are asking for Nash is ridiculous, but I still worry when it comes to Sather.

Doo bee doo bee doo. Beware the Penguins!

Malkin may have clinched his MVP trophy last night.

Once again, when the games matter, Mary Gaborik dissappears. Completely. If there's some game in the middle of the schedule vs. a nonplayoff team, Gabby's your man. In games that either matter in the standings or playoffs, don't count on Mary.

Suspect after last night the Rangers will make a move. The price for Nash is insane, but they will do something to get goal scroing.

Henrik can't do it all. He did a pretty good job of keeping them in it last night. Defense and goalies win championships, but yes you do need to score to win. Trade deadline will be interesting for sure.

Torterella basically wagered playing Biron tonight and vs. the Blackwawks was worth the risk because it will keep The King fresh for April. Still a concern that the goals are not coming as much as you would hope. I'd expect some move, but not a Nash-like 5 guys for 1.

A tough game. Rangers outshot and outchanced the Avs, but Vhramlov was spectacular. Other than Marc Andre Fleury the best goalie they have faced all year,a t least for 1 night. Not much point to worrying about it. If Zuccarello's hits net isntead iron it's at least a point.

Move on; Devils tomorrow.

A really good win.

The #1 seed is probably facing Winnipeg-a 4 or 5 game vacation.

The #4 seed is probably facing the Devils-for the Rangers, that figures to be a 6 or 7 game war.

The #1 seed is crucial.

#1 seed could be playing the Capitals or Sabres.

#4 seed is playing Philly.

Still, agree #1 is better than #4. If it's Pens/Flyers 4/5 someone might die.

I'll take the one seed and home ice throughout to the Finals anytime over a 4 seed and a favorable matchup against the Flyers.

Great win for the Rangers last night especially coming off an emotionally charged game the other night against the Devils.

They might literally kill each other. The Flyers will probably lose in the first round, but they are gonna take a pound of flesh out of their opponent. Same with the Devils. Caps, Sabres and Jets are not in their class.

How'd that turn out ? :winking0001:

First in the East is going to come down to the last game of the season.

Looking that way.Win and face a weak 8 seed like the Caps,Sabres or Jets, and lose and instead get an 7-game war with the Orange Crud of Philly.

Really would like to see more offense. Rangers get a 1-goal lead and then block shots and lean on the King like crazy-which is how they blew a series to the Caps a few yeard back. . It's not much of a margin for error. The power play has gone back to sucking since Zuccarello was hurt. If I told you in the beginning of the season losing Zuccarello, basically a spare part, was a great loss you would not have expected that. Every other NHL team gets the puck to the point, clogs the front of the net with bodies and has then have the point shoot in hopes of either a score or a rebound garbage scramble goal. Careers have been made on such goals-Phil Esposito, Tim Kerr, Al Secord. And yet the Rangers pass the puck around on the perimeter as if they get style points for 42 passes.Their last PP vs. Minny featured zero shots despite being in the Minny zone for most of the 2 minutes. On "24/7" Tortarella even seemed furious about it, but it hasn't changed all season.
