Darrelle Revis (starter), Nick Mangold, and D’Brickashaw Ferguson made the AFC roster with Joe McKnight (1st alternate), David Harris (2nd alternate), and Brandon Moore (2nd alternate) being named alternates at their positions. The alternates are next to go In addition, now that the Pro Bowl is in the off week between conference championship Sunday and Super Bowl Sunday, if any of the Pro Bowlers are on the championship teams, they're obviously not going to play. Yes -- there were already a lot of starters that opted out due to injuries or just not wanting to play.
