sirlancemehlot
I know cutting C-Mart is a cap-killer and the same goes for D-Rob and Penny. But what about the Mid-range guys? Would it kill us to cut Barrett? J-Mac? McCareins didn't even look like he was trying yesterday. I want him gone so bad I'd trade him for Curtis Conway at this point. aec4
www.wissearch.net/jets Cutting McCareins will cost us 4.0M on the cap. Keeping hiim costs 3.242M. This means it would cost an ADDITIONAL 758K to cut him. Cutting Martin would save 2.2M on the cap. In other words, you got both wrong.
4HCrew
McCareins pissed me off beyond belief with his lack of effort with the deep ball in the endzone. Could he not lay out for that one? you know Coles would have dove threw a goal post to try for that one and here is Justin pulling up short. RSJ
Justin hasn't looked interested at all since getting here. I remember against cleveland last year he took a hit over the middle and looked at chad like wtf are you doing trying to kill me? I say we put him on the pup list or tell him to restructure. Maxman
If Herm is such a great coach, then why hasn't he taught McCareins how to catch? In order to truly be a great receiver one must first understand how to not get open. Also how to drop the ball. JMAC is close to mastering his studies. Give him a few more weeks though!

RSJ
Oh well. Atleast he is better than Reggie Rembert was. Now that was a blown 2nd round pick. I remember when we got this guy and I bitched about it. I was told I wasn't a Jet fan and didn't know football.

By asking how much it costs to cut him? The Martin statement may well be wrong. As I understood it, he'd be a cap liability until 2007. Either way, why do you hate me so much? Why are you all secretly laughing at all of my posts? I know you all keep me around just so you can make fun of my ineptitude but some day I'll catch you all on audio tape! Hah! Then i'll listen to each painful degrading remark about me until My heart is broken sufficiently to make me leave this site and link up with Jetstone to start JETCOUNRY.com! I misinterpretted your "Cut McCareins" post because that's been a pet peeve of mine lately on all Jets boards. I know you don't really hate me, AEC. If you aren't familiar with my pre-disaster posting material, I was once quite funny in a self-depracating way. I'm now a shadow of my former self. Which is a terrible thing since my former self wasn't particularly interesting to begin with. In fact, I have a sneaking suspicion that he is in cahoots with the rest of you, making fun of me when my computer is off.

Bugg
Kinda think the OC gets his orders from the HC. I cannot see any difference at all in the playcalling from Hackett ot Heimerdinger. The one constant is the HC. Which is not to say that Heimerdinger is blameless.

sirlancemehlot
I guess Herm and Terry were impressed with how he burned Aarron Beasley on MNF? Bingo! The one and only reason we entered the J-Mac sweepstakes and won for lack of other entrants. He beat our lousy D-backs and looked like a budding star for a single game in his entire career, and Hermy happened to be watching.
