ebonix
As was the stupid Revis comment, he just said it to curry favor with the fan base. Revis said the jets were his first choice. everyone must know Woody backed Idzik over Rex on that. All the early reports were that Woody was totally miffed at Revis's constant holding out for more cash. He didn't want to pay him 16 Million; which is what he was asking-- then he got hurt, and Woody saw the opportunity to get rid of him. Remember, no one was certain the Revis could come back and be 100% the same player ever again.
Villain The Foe
Report: Raiders to interview Eric Mangini for head coaching job Posted by Mike Wilkening on December 30, 2014, 1:25 AM EST Getty Images The Raiders are reportedly set to interview a former NFL head coach for their top coaching position. Former Browns and Jets coach Eric Mangini will meet with Oakland, Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports reported Monday night. The 43-year-old Mangini was 23-26 in three seasons in New York (2006-2008) and 10-22 in two seasons with Cleveland (2009-2010). He is currently the 49ers’ tight ends coach. Before joining the Jets, Mangini rose to prominence as a defensive assistant during New England’s run of three Super Bowls in four seasons. He has been off the radar as an NFL head coaching candidate in recent years, but he appears ready to meet with Oakland.

It's a courtesy interview. A former player, Lynn has been an NFL RBs coach since 2003. Rooney Rule: double-check

vincenzo69
We gotta make a push for Nick Saban, Mike Shanahan, and/or Bill Cowher Shanahan I think is a good suggestion. Saban is never coming here. Morena Baccarin gives me a rusty trumbone before Bill Cowher comes back to the NFL as a head coach let alone the dead end jets. Maybe one of them will coach your newfound Big Blew heroes next season after Coach Tawm is fired after another losing season and heads off to a Nursing Home
