Jack Straw
Meyer is friends with Belichick. Hes not going to the AFCE even if he left OSU. Yeah, you're right. Because Belichick's best friend Nick Saban never did that.
The Troll
It would be a great hire until he retired due to "health reasons" only to come back and take the Dolphins job a year later. F*ck Urban Meyer. As an SEC guy, he is public enemy number one.

The Troll
I doubt you're a Gator, aren't you happy he's not in the SEC? I want the conference to win. I don't particular care which one of the 14 schools does it.
Warfish
To go all in for Urban Meyer. He is the best coach in all of Football. An ego maniac with nothing left to prove but that he can do it an the NFL level. Go all in. Open the check book. Make it happen. What, Cowher, Parcells and Lombardi aiming too low for you? Must be tough living in a fantasy land.

faba
DALLAS -- After winning his third national title, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer says he has no desire to coach in the NFL. Well, for now. More from ESPN.com A day after winning the first College Football Playoff, Ohio State was anointed the favorite to win next year's national title in Las Vegas. Story Horned Frogs bring back loaded team; Ohio State, Baylor, USC round out top four playoff contenders for 2015. Story Meyer spoke Tuesday morning at a news conference, the championship trophy at his side a few hours after leading the Buckeyes (14-1) to a 42-20 win over Oregon in the College Football Playoff National Championship Presented by AT&T. When asked if he would ever consider moving to the pros, Meyer said, "Not right now. I've got a commitment to Ohio State and these players. I love what I'm doing. Not right now." Meyer has a coaching record of 142-26 in stints at Bowling Green, Utah, Florida and Ohio State. He won two national titles at Florida and, with the victory Monday night, becomes only the second coach to win national titles at different schools. The other is Nick Saban. {C} The Herd with Colin Cowherd Ohio State coach Urban Meyer comments on his team's win over Oregon in the College Football Playoff National Championship, the Buckeyes' growth and Cardale Jones' development. In looking forward to next season, Meyer said -- in perhaps the understatement of the season --- that "we'll be very good." Some of Ohio State's best players didn't play in Monday night's game, and many of those who did are coming back. Half of the Buckeyes' starters in the championship game were freshmen or sophomores. Asked about the potential of Ohio State repeating as champion, Meyer smiled and said, "Tough questions, man. We just won a championship!'' Ohio State has been listed as an underdog in six games under Meyer and has won all six, beating Oregon, Alabama, Michigan State twice and Wisconsin twice, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

What, Cowher, Parcells and Lombardi aiming too low for you? Must be tough living in a fantasy land. I know right? Totally out of the realm of possibility for a great college coach to take a crack at NFL. It's literally never happened before.
Klecko73isGod
Meyer will jump ship to the NFL the second the NCAA is about to strip Ohio State of all of its wins under him.
