He's one of the best, but I think if you put Peyton with Beli and those teams, they win 6 titles.

That's laughable right there.

Manning has a lifetime losing record in the playoffs.

What makes you possibly think he would all of a sudden start winning on those Patriots teams?

Are you sh*tting me?

Montana had the best WR that ever played the game and a great NFL Mind Coaching him, and a damn good O around him.  His support was so good, his backup is a Hall of Famer.

Tom Brady had a bunch of midget white guys, a generally run-of-the-mill Defense and a D-Co Head Coach.

When I say it's not even close, it's not even close.  Montana is an all time great.  Brady is the GOAT.

Is this more silly Jet Fan foolishness, like saying the guy banging a super model is "gay"?

It has to be.

Well... Brady plays in the AFC East. The weakest NFL division in the last 15 years. I happen to think Brady is 1 or 2 so I am not arguing but Montana played great teams. Giants, Skins, Cowboys , Bears, we're all great back then.

Montanas comeback against the Bengals was as good as any Brady comeback. BUT... No doubt, Brady is the reason the Pats won the SB.

1) This is more or less what i think. I view Walsh as being in a way different league then the cheater, he changed the nfl forever and his offenses were a step ahead of defenses of the time. The fact that Young came in and played just as well dings Montana a bit

2) lmao at the bolded, it's so true. Most of the guys here would wear lingerie in public if Gisele was letting them rut on her

OMG

Pete Carroll hands off ball to Lynch and now wonderful tommy is 3-3 in SB's

QBs were not protected in Montana's era, could get crushed 2 seconds after release of ball. Brady would be in a body bag

You realize Montana is 2 inches and 20 lbs smaller then brady? And the speed and strength ratios of NFL defenders are dwarfed by what is out there today. You have safeties out there that can bench more then the average NFL lb back then, and Dlineman that can run faster then them.

Blah, blah, blah.

Teree doesn't make a fluke catch and Welker doesn't drop that pass, Brady is 6-0 in a Super Bow games.

Sherman  Kam and Thomas all played with significant injuries and they lost Lane in 1st 5 minutes of game, ya tommy was so spot on throwing 11 passes to ben vereen

Brady takes very few hits, in the old days his flops wouldn't work.

When the Pats were down 10 points in the 4th quarter, Brady went 13-15, 128 yards and 2 TD's leading the Pats to the greatest 4th quarter comeback in the history of the Super Bowl.

they were gifted game asshat

you realize you can both be right here? Brady did play awesome and brought his team back, then Belicheats defense was on the verge of choking when Bevel happened and gifted the game back

Had bevel/carroll not gifted game, Belicheat would have been crucified for not taking TO's and Tommy would have been criticized for losing 3 straight SB's throwing 2 Ints, one in redzone and the other giving sea 7 points

Too bad that didn't happen.

Bottom line, Brady and the Pats won their 4th Super Bowl in 14 years.

Get over it.

And Brady would still be the greatest a qb ever anyway.

Laughable?  You really have to cut it out with your overstated perspective on all things football.  Most people have enough humility to acknowledge that counterfactual scenarios like the one you denigrated might have produced more productive outcomes.  Most people entertain theories presented by other posters in a thoughtful and respectful manner.  You just disagree in an unqualified manner with anyone who does not agree with your perspective.  People that are unwilling to entertain the opinions of others and at least consider the various merits associated with their view should spend more time addressing their autism with a specialist and less time ranting on a Jets Fan Forum.

Brady was the GOAT before the Seahawks coaches decided to throw it on the 9 inch line instead of running it with Lynch.

Montana won before free agency. He was able to have the same team the entire 1980's.

No Brady was not.  I'm not saying he's not great or doesn't belong in the HOF - I'm just saying he's not in my top 5 of all time great QBs

Seattle was averaging 15.9 points on defense per game.

NE hung 14 points on Seattle in 1 quarter.

Belichicks defense held Seattle to a FG in the 3rd quarter by stuffing Lynch on 3rd and 1. Huge play.

He roots for the Patriots, it means he is an expert in all things NFL cause he's been learning from the best for 15 years

Arguing that Brady is not great is simply ridiculous.  He almost single handed won that SB.  Throwing to a 7th rounder and a converted QB.   Please stop...you are embarrassing yourself.

I hate the sparkle pony but he is a beast.

Who said he wasn't a good QB?  He is not greatest ever, and his game only does well in PUSSIFIED era. He is a dink and dunk specialist that has relied on cheating and deflated footballs.

and he should be 3-3 in SB's thanks to idiotic seahawks coaching staff

Sure he is the GOAT.

No QB in the history of the NFL took his team to 6 Super Bowls, winning 4 of them.

If it weren't for 2 fluke plays, Brady is 6-0 in Super Bowl games.

OK.... so a QB who made it to 6 SBs is a dink and dunker???  His yardage year in year out put him at the top of all time.

But OK...  he is a dink and dunker.  Who is better????

I, not saying he is number one, but at worst he is 3 and IMO, he is NOT 3.
