Jet in PA
@SiriusXMNFL: Injuries continue today around the league: Colts WR TY Hilton done for the day. "Knee wrapped in ice" @zkeefer: Irsay: X-ray on TY Hilton's knee was negative, just a bad bruise. Likely still out a few weeks.
hawk
The pussification of the league will come back to haunt the owners.
Jetster
Frank Gore was hurt today too & didn't return, calf. He's an older player so he might not be ready Monday either.
Warfish
The pussification of the league will come back to haunt the owners. It's not "pussification" per se. The Union wanted less preperation time. Less prep = more early injuries. Players get what (their Union) wanted.

The Union is forking out millions of dollars. However, I am sure the owners looked at it as protecting their investments at the time as well. The whole league is behind changing the physicality of the game, from the league to the union to the owners.
Jetlife33
Wow, could be a huge break for us. He'd kill us with his underneath routes.
BigRy56
This is the kind of team that the Jets are built to beat. A soft pass heavy team that cannot run the football or stop the run.

LouisvilleSlugger25
These injuries happen because these guys are bigger, stronger, faster than ever before. That leads to greater impacts and more injuries. If they practiced more, or less, it wouldn't make a difference.

I think it contributes, but there would be less injuries if they practiced more especially early.

This is just that type of sport. 20 years ago you could actually take off during the offseason, today football is a year round job and you have to stay in tip top shape. It just comes down to the physicality.
