With your IF in mind, I definitely agree that this should be a priority for the Jets, one they should think about addressing during the season. Robby Anderson will be a RFA, so he'd be the last guy I'd deal with. Just slap a first-round tender on him if he leads the team in receiving again (a little over $4M in 2018) and come back to him. If Enunwa not only demonstrates that he's 100% healthy, and the team doesn't believe his neck to be an issue in the future, and he looks like the guy the team hoped he was becoming before he went down, he should be the priority. Have to see how Hansen performs when the pads go on, but he, Enunwa, and Anderson could be a very good, young WR group to join with Darnold. I'd love to see Pryor perform to the level where they want to resign him, too.

If Anderson has another year like last year a first round pick from a team drafting in the mid to high 20s might be viewed as a good deal   I think he has proved himself on the field and will only get better    The big question is can he stay on the field???

We need to revamp 80% of the OL though. So not just 1 LT.. OL has great value in 2nd round. We should try to trade down, get 2 2nd rounders if possible and take 2 OL. Don’t think Mac will ever spend the $$$ for a decent OL in FA

There's a good chance we draft in the top ten     If the players available don't seem a value they can probably trade back in rd1 and get a second rounder

80%. Wow you guys are hysterical why not 100%

I would upgrade the left side in FA next year. Long is probably going to be ok.  Winters and Shell aren’t spectacular but they are fine.  Realistically we will be able to sign both Lewan and Martin if both hit the free agent market

Exactly, lol, 80%? Winters is under contract & Shell is still developing. Long was signed & can hold the fort for a 2019 center in the draft. I'd go all in for Lewan at LT though.

The bigger issue is Fowler was pretty much a bust until last season when Coughlin took over.  He’s been a headcase both on and off the field and an unproductive one at that until this past season

A big contract + Todd Bowles drooling on himself means Fowler most likely reverts to what he was up until 10 months ago

Yes, wouldn't trust Bowles to get much more out of him, nor to move him around like Coughlin or any real coach would. And Coughlin was probably all over him like he was with a Strahan, and that was a guy who was a real player. Keeps coming back to a defense first head coach who doesn't add anything. The players don't get better, the schemes don't much change. Lines everyone up in his 3-4 and nickel and dime on passing downs and that's it. There's no innovation, no wrinkles. And doesn't hold anyone accountable. Wilkerson and Richardson might still be douchenozzles but looks like Bowles did little to change things up, to push them. Hard seeing how things would be any different with Fowler.

No way we have the capital to get him. No way. We should be around 5-11 7-9 record and we don’t have a #2 to use so it’s a long long shot.  Besides we have way to many holes and an average to below average talent pool to be trading up.

There was no way Darnold would ever be  a Jet up to just a few weeks ago

Thing is we are so terrible at OLB we are forced to sign a high risk guy like Fowler

Our OL isn’t as horrific as everyone is screaming in panick about it.  Especially if Beachum is on the field

Lil'Bosa is probably 1 or 2. Unless they totally suck would probably have to give up #1s in 2019 and 2020.

Totally different scenario. We have no bargaining chips to work with. Maybe Mac can throw in his free Starbucks all you can drink coffee card.

Exactly and that ain’t happening

Until he gets injured or other players emerge and move ahead of him in the draft it happens all the time

The only college players who aren’t subject to possibly ever falling are highly touted qbs everyone knows will be good like Luck, Winston or Darnold
