nycdan
It's a lot more interesting of a story-line now. Literally the two hottest teams in baseball (well and the Astros and maybe the Dodgers). This needs another week or two in the over to see if the Mets can get into solid post-season position, but this would be an amazing series and very different from 2000 I suspect.
BROOKLYN JET
Yes, would love to see another subway series.
14 in Green
Is this a serious question? New York is, was, and always will be a baseball town, and when the Mets are rolling, it’s a National League town! Sorry @SAR I,but we’ve taken over the city, buddy. The Yankees were on a 8 game winning streak until last night, and nobody cared. LFGM

After 23 years of Yankee dominance its cool for the Mets to get a little attention. In (LOL) August. SAR I

Enjoy August. 2

BROOKLYN JET
I'm a Yankees fan, and I root for a subway series every year. If I was around when the Dodgers were in Brooklyn, I would hate the Yankees too.
